    A birthday surprise in Sri Lanka

    The hotel staff were very good too make my wife's birthday special. We enjoyed a beautifully decorated room with fine views of the ocean and city.

    On a couple of occasions, the restaurant service was slow, as I had to remind them for basic items like water. This detracted from an otherwise enjoyable stay.
